Ideal climatic conditions make Gran Canaria an ideal place for golfers, where you can practice your favorite sport 365 days a year. An additional advantage is that most of the golf courses on the island are new: the modern courses, conceived with the expectation of the most demanding players. 

Currently on Gran Canaria there are 8 golf courses, all of which are created by the most prestigious international designers of golf courses. Experts estimate many of them as one of the best in Spain. 

Real Club de Golf de Las Palmas: 

Founded in 1891 by British immigrants, Real Club de Golf de Las Palmas ( Royal Golf Club of Las Palmas) is the oldest golf course in Spain. On this golf course, located just south of Pico de Bandama, extraordinary views of the Caldera de Bandama and a picturesque crater attract the visitors.

This golf course was designed by Mackenzie Ross, it has 18 holes (par 71), two putting greens, a training launch pad "ti" and pitching green, a golf shop, club rental service, a restaurant, and an excellent wine cellar. There are also tennis courts, a riding area and a swimming pool.

Las Palmeras Golf:

This golf course with 18 holes (par 54) was designed by Antonio García Garrido and opened in 2006. Golf Las Palmeras is conveniently located in the city center, overlooks the beach of Canteras and the Atlantic Ocean waves.

The area includes a putting green area of 1000 sq. m, as well as significant sites for Chipping size. The playground and the children's room will be useful to those who come here with their children. There is also a snack bar, a restaurant and a terrace.

El Cortijo de Campo: 

In this course, important international championships are held and in addition, it is the center of the tournament Peugeot Oki Tour and the Professional Spanish championships for women and for older players. Designed by Blake Sterling (mainly designer Pete Dai) and Mark Martin, the course has 18 holes (72 pars) and fast greens. The number "five" tags reaches six per well, so you will find a great variety and a sufficient level of complexity. In addition, it has a golf school, a driving range, chipping green, putting green and a training bunker, as well as office for carts, bags and golf clubs rental.

Oasis is an Golf:

Experts believe that this golf course with 18 holes (par 54) is a miniature recreation of famous golf courses in America and has become one of the best in the world. Several peculiarities such as scenic lakes and sand bunkers form a remarkable contrast with lush green field. The only golf course in Gran Canaria that is floodlit, Oasis Golf provides visitors with the opportunity to play also at night when the air temperature is - especially in the summer - more favorable. In addition, there is a golf shop, a restaurant, golf bags and clubs rental, as well as a children's room.

In Maspalomas Golf:

When Mackenzie Ross came to designing this golf course, he took into attention surrounding dunes. As a result, Maspalomas Golf offers you an extremely long and flat course with arms and wide stripes. Even on the hottest days, the proximity of the sea and the mild breezes cool the trade winds, to make your visit to this golf course very pleasant and unforgettable. 

This golf course with 18 holes (par 73) serves as the venue for several prestigious international championships. There are training greens, driving range, instructors, hire carts, golf bags and clubs, shops, restaurants and bars where you can eat.

Salobre Golf & Resort:

Salobre Golf, one of the newest golf clubs in Gran Canaria, enjoys a scenic location among ravines and volcanic landscapes typical of the south of the island. Indeed, abundant golf course vegetation forms a striking contrast with the surrounding terrain. 

Designed by Rolandom Fore, interesting and requiringexperience course Salobre Sur ( «South») with 18 holes (71 pairs) is about 6 km long. More intricate Salobre Norte ( «northern»), also known as the Beast Course, designed by Ron Kirby, has 18 holes, but par 72. The complex facilities include a golf school, a practice area, driving range, putting green, a club rental , massage, a golf shop and a restaurant with terrace.

Anfi Tauro Golf: 

At the Mogan municipality, in the southern part of the island, you are waiting for Anfi Tauro Golf. This club is located in a beautiful place and has a pitch-and-putt golf course of 9 holes (par 27), opened in 2001, as well as a new 18-hole course (par 72). This place can be proud of its picturesque lakes with crystal clear water and a huge variety of plants and flowers as well as magnificent views of the mountains. Besides putting green and training fields, on-site  there is café and a driving range.

Golf Meloneras: 

This beautiful golf course runs along the bay of Meloneras in the south of the island, it was designed by Ronom Kirbi. With 9 out of 18 holes (71 par) offer great views of the mountains, and the other 9  - out of the ocean. The course design is very attractive, the holes are located with the increase in the level of complexity. Attention to detail is typical for Meloneras Golf - even the golf carts are equipped with GPS!
